Fondé en 2007, Scolopendra débute dans un registre mélangeant métal extrême, thrash et hardcore en une explosion déformatée et enregistre leur première démo en 2011. Dépourvu de tout désir de jouer quoique ce soit comme de coutume, la musique de Scolopendra évolue vers un death plus technique aimant jouer des motifs chromatiques à des entailles rythmiques inhabituelles accompagnés d'ambiances, en ce jour de Juillet 2015 le premier concept album “Cycles” est né. Puis le combo travaille sur son second opus et entre en studio en 2017 pour l’enregistrement de “The Alienation Spread”, l'album se veut encore plus sombre que son prédécesseur. 2019 va marquer l’année de leur troisième album, soyez prêt pour la douloureuse morsure du centipéde... [FR] Founded in 2007, Scolopendra first starts in a furious entity, mixing extreme metal, thrash and hardcore in one blow and records their first demo in 2011. With no desire to play anything as usual, the music of scolopendra evolved towards a music more techincal death metal loving to play from chromatic patterns to unusual rythmic slashes accompanied with ambiences, in this day of July 2015 their first concept album "Cycles" was born. Then the combo worked on their second opus and entered the studio in 2017 for the recording of "The Alienation Spread", the record proves itself darker than its predecessor. 2019 is going to mark the year of their third album, be ready for the painful bite of the centipede...
